The transmitter is really tiny and fits into the USB two. I also bought a wireless Logitech mouse to go with it. Quickly, it recognized my wireless network and asked my if I desired to join it. It also swiftly goes to “sleep” to save battery energy, but comes back right after touching a key and clicking on your user name. I had no difficulty registering my name as a user with out a password (see preceding critique). It did take about an hour (as a substitute of ten minutes) simply because there had been 40 new upgrades to the Property Edition to download. It proceeded with out difficulty and restarted itself. The whole unit with the 3 cell battery is amazingly lightweight at only two. 6 lbs. I had no difficulty finding utilized to the slightly smaller sized keyboard and the display is extremely vibrant with superb resolution. port of which there are three. I have Usually had gateway laptops and really like them, but have never had a netbook. I am typing on this laptop right now and the best left corner of my screen is white and black simply because it cracked inside. . . This is a decent laptop. Also, I am not confident if this is a “netbook” factor but my display cracked for no cause, internally. so this difficulty was not covered and it would expense 0. 00 + shipping to repair. (named gateway). But ALSO BE Recommended the warranty on this pc DOES NOT cover any screen concerns. Bought this and liked it but be mindful you Cannot customize your desktop background on this as it has windows seven starter. I am not confident if it is due to the fact of this model or it is widespread in netbooks. . . You can put a small pic (factory or one of your personal) in the center using the gadget but that is it. . . I have never ever had this issue. something. I did not drop it, hit it.
